Eravikulangara Bhagavathy Temple is an ancient Hindu temple in the Ernakulam district of Kerala, India, dedicated to Bhagavan Sivan and Bhagavan Ayyappan
കേരളത്തിലെ എറണാകുളം ജില്ലയിൽ ഭഗവതി, ഭഗവാൻ ശിവൻ, ഭഗവാൻ അയ്യപ്പൻ എന്നിവർക്കായി സമർപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന ഒരു പുരാതന ഹിന്ദു ക്ഷേത്രമാണ് ഇരവികുളങ്ങര ഭഗവതി ക്ഷേത്രം.
The temple is situated in the village of Akaparambu, between Kalady and Aluva. The temple is almost one kilometer away from the Nedumbassery International Airport and 500 meters away from the Kariyad Junction at NH47.
കാലടിക്കും ആലുവയ്ക്കും ഇടയിലുള്ള അകപ്പറമ്പ് ഗ്രാമത്തിലാണ് ക്ഷേത്രം സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്യുന്നത്. നെടുമ്പാശ്ശേരി ഇൻ്റർനാഷണൽ എയർപോർട്ടിൽ നിന്ന് ഏകദേശം ഒരു കിലോമീറ്റർ അകലെയും NH47 ൽ കരിയാട് ജംഗ്ഷനിൽ നിന്ന് 500 മീറ്റർ അകലെയുമാണ് ക്ഷേത്രം.
The Ashtamangalya prasna conducted here has revealed that the temple is around 1600 years old. It is also understood from the Ashtamangalya prasna that ages back the temple was amidst a dense forest and presence of Devi was found here.
ഇവിടെ നടത്തിയ അഷ്ടമംഗല്യപ്രശ്നത്തിൽ ക്ഷേത്രത്തിന് ഏകദേശം 1600 വർഷം പഴക്കമുണ്ടെന്ന് വെളിപ്പെടുത്തിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. അഷ്ടമംഗല്യപ്രശ്നത്തിൽ നിന്നും മനസ്സിലാക്കുന്നത്, പുരാതനമായ ഈ ക്ഷേത്രം നിബിഡ വനത്തിനുള്ളിൽ ആയിരുന്നുവെന്നും ഇവിടെ ദേവിയുടെ സാന്നിധ്യം കണ്ടെത്തിയിരുന്നു.
Vilwamangalam Swamiyar had the Darshan of Devi at this place, hence the hillock where the temple is situated is also called Thiruviluam Kunnu. The presence of Lord Shiva and Sastha were also found later on and devotees started to worship them too.
വില്വമംഗലം സ്വാമിയാർ ഇവിടെ ദേവീ ദർശനം നടത്തിയിരുന്നതിനാൽ ക്ഷേത്രം സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്യുന്ന കുന്നിനെ തിരുവിലുവാം കുന്ന് എന്നും വിളിക്കുന്നു. ശിവൻ്റെയും ശാസ്താവിൻ്റെയും സാന്നിദ്ധ്യം പിന്നീട് കണ്ടെത്തി, ഭക്തർ അവരെയും ആരാധിക്കാൻ തുടങ്ങി.
A Thambula Prasna was conducted in the year 2007. It has emphasized the need of Prathishta of Brahma Rakshas and Naga Devatas in the temple and it is done with thanthric rituals in October 2008
2007-ൽ ഒരു താംബൂലപ്രശ്നം നടത്തി. ക്ഷേത്രത്തിൽ ബ്രഹ്മരക്ഷസ്സിൻ്റെയും നാഗദേവതകളുടെയും പ്രതിഷ്ഠയുടെ ആവശ്യകത ഊന്നിപ്പറയുകയും 2008 ഒക്ടോബറിൽ തന്ത്രപരമായ ചടങ്ങുകളോടെ നടത്തുകയും ചെയ്തു.
