ക്രൂരനായ ഹിരണ്യ കശിപുവിനെ മാറു കീറി പിളർന്ന മഹാവിഷ്ണുവിന്റെ അവതാരമൂർത്തിയായ നരസിംഹമാണ് പ്രതിഷ്ഠ. പക്ഷേ വിഗ്രഹം ചതുർബാഹുവായ മഹാവിഷ്ണുവിന്റെതുതന്നെ.
The deity is Narasimha, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu who tore the cruel Hiranya Kasipu to pieces. But the idol is of four-armed Lord Vishnu.
